Leader of the Cult of Skaro, Dalec Sec was more creative and intelligent than most Daleks; the Doctor considered him the cleverest Dalek to have ever existed. Sec felt that purity had brought the Dalek race to near extinction and they needed to adapt to survive. Volunteering himself to what he called the final experiment, Dalek Sec transformed into a Human Dalek hybrid, however, with the change came human emotion, and Sec sacrificed himself to save the Doctor from his fellow Daleks.
