Some wannabe golfers were inspired to pick up a club by legends like Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus, whereas others like myself were inspired by the antics of the Subway-sponsored hockey reject in Adam Sandler’s 1996 hit comedy, Happy Gilmore.

The film follows the story of Happy Gilmore, a down-on-his-luck, bad-tempered larrikin who after learning he can drive a golf ball extremely far, takes up golf in order to help pay off his grandma’s tax debts.

Here we have Happy Gilmore, complete with his hockey stick putter that Chubbs gets specially made for him and wearing his iconic Bruins jersey from the film.
