Spider-Man in the future?! It happened, all the way back in 1992 in fact, when Ol’Spidey was given a futuristic treatment for the acclaimed Spider-Man 2099 comic series.

Spider-Man 2099’s real identity is Miguel O’Hara, a brilliant geneticist living in New York (renamed Nueva York) in the year 2099, who attempts to recreate the abilities of the original Spider-Man in other people, who later suffers a related accident that causes half of his DNA to be re-written with a spider’s genetic code

Here we have Spider-Man 2099 wearing his epic suit from the comics, which also makes a cameo in the smash-hit film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.
